Former Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) channel, SMB, and alliances indirect sales director, Kaaren Lewis, has resigned from her role.

Lewis told ARN the change was effective from January 29 and that she is now seeking other opportunities. The company's SMB country manager, Nicholas Lambrou, will take over Lewis' responsibilities, in addition to his, until a replacement is found.

“I spent two years heading the channel, SMB, and alliances at HPE and it was a privilege to work with the channel and its customers. I only hope for their continued success going into 2016.

“HPE has one of the largest channel ecosystems and having returned the business to growth, restructuring it, and setting a vision and strategy for it, made 2015 a record year for the company,” she said.

“The channel has appreciated all these developments and I have loved working with the channel.”

Lewis declined to mention why she was leaving the company.

She held the position of HPE channel, SMB, and alliances indirect sales director for more than two years.

Prior to that, Lewis was the Asia-Pacific and Japan ISV software director at Dell for two years. She also served at the company as its A/NZ software and peripherals director for two years.

Lewis worked in Insight as its A/NZ director between 2006 and 2009.

In addition, she was the A/NZ small and medium business director at HP for a year and the company’s A/NZ HP Direct director between 2002 and 2005. Some of her other stints include working at Compaq Computer Corporation and at IBM in a number of roles.

UPDATED 06/06/16: Lewis has since launched her own channel consultancy, named Lewis Furneaux Consulting.

The consultancy specialises in business consulting to the ICT Industry for channel partners and vendors, focusing on three core areas: business consulting and services, marketing services, and event facilitation.
