Alessandro Cardoso joins RXP Services
Technology consulting services company, RXP Services, has named Alessandro Cardoso as its national lead and technology strategist for Cloud, identity and security.
Cardoso will report directly to the company’s general manager, Kevin Brough.
In this newly created role, the Microsoft most valuable professional (MVP) will help drive RXP’s strategic vision to extend and diversify its Cloud, identity and security services, as well as fostering strategic partnerships and client engagements and supporting its continued growth.
“It’s not about talking to the customer about just the Cloud. It’s about how it will work for the end user and core to this is identity and security. That’s why I decided to join RXP Services, because this is a key focus for the company,” he said.
“Customers are looking for independent trusted advisors with real world answers, knowledge and reputation to help them achieve their outcomes and RXP Services is ready for it. I’m looking forward to progressing a strategic agenda and delivering tangible outcomes to our stakeholders, partners and customers.”
Cardoso told ARN he has been working with Microsoft technologies for more than 15 years and his experience in it will help him in this new role.
“I have a huge background in working with Microsoft’s technologies. Every vendor is changing and evolving and opening up opportunities for everyone, so being able to help customers and talking to them about Cloud, identity and security as one package will provide them with the best solution for them,” he said.
Cardoso has a strong background in Cloud, virtualisation and management and brings with his experience having worked in the technology industry for more than 24 years.
Prior to joining RXP Services, he was the national manager of the solutions platform at Readify for almost two years. Carsoso was based in the company’s Brisbane office, and has relocated to RXP Services’ Sydney office.
Before that, he was the Asia-Pacific practice manager for Cloud and emerging technologies at Insight for more than a year.
He has also held a number of management roles, having served at Dell as its senior technical consultant for almost three years and at Gravity as its system architect for more than a year. Some of the other companies he has worked for include SSW, TDS Tecnologica, and Tribunal Justica de Mato Grosso.
Cardoso also got highly commended for technical excellence within the personal innovation category at the 2014 ARN ICT Industry Awards.
