Synnex has signed a distribution agreement with Kentico, a CMS, e-commerce and online marketing platform vendor, spanning Australia and New Zealand.

In a bid to bolster the distributor’s cloud credentials on both sides of the Tasman, terms of the deal will see Kentico solutions also rolled out to the rest of the Synnex channel across Asia Pacific.

As a Microsoft independent software vendor (ISV), Kentico provides an all-in-one CMS, e-commerce and online marketing platform, designed to assist businesses across on-premise or cloud.

With more than 1000 partners in 80 countries, the company provides end-users and partners tools to create websites and management customer experiences.

“Synnex looks forward to partnering with Kentico and on-boarding its solution into our Cloud Marketplace,” Synnex Australia and New Zealand CEO, Kee Ong, said.

“Resellers will be able to package Kentico’s integrated CMS and E-commerce solution with cloud infrastructure from IBM Softlayer, Rackspace or Microsoft Azure through the Synnex Cloud Automation Platform.

“This creates more opportunities for channel partners to drive revenue in the cloud.

“The Synnex and Kentico strategic partnership will help extend our network to digital agencies, CRM partners, integrators, and software development partners.”

With Kentico joining the distributor’s growing list of cloud solutions, Ong said Synnex partners are “well-equipped” to meet the needs of new and emerging vertical markets to stay competitive.

In short, resellers can leverage solutions readily available from the Synnex Cloud Marketplace such as Barracuda, MYOB and Microsoft cloud solutions.

“We believe this relationship will enable more solution providers and customers to use Kentico without the need to manage the hosting environment setup,” Kentico director of Asia Pacific, Wayne Jasek, added.

“Together with Synnex, we are working on ways to streamline the deployment process of Kentico’s Customer Experience solution as much as possible. Ultimately, we want our partners and customers to manage the projects, not the technology.”

With offices in Australia, the United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Czech Republic, Jasek said Kentico’s network of digital agency partners can now leverage the Synnex cloud offerings to provide Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to end clients, helping them expand their business revenue.

“Our partners can now extend the scope of their professional services and earn margins on selling cloud servers with Kentico platform subscriptions,” Synnex general manager of e-commerce and cloud services, Michael Tea, added.

“In addition, Synnex is offering partners a Synnex Reseller Webstore based on Kentico to sell the 12,000 products in our portfolio online and start their online reseller business.”
