Yealink makes big moves in Australian channel space
Unified communications terminal solutions company, Yealink, is extending its reach into Australia. The company most recently signed on Addcom as a distributor in Australia, and intends to increase its play in the voice, video, and data space.
Founded in 2001, Yealink is a Chinese company that has a product portfolio which includes video conferencing systems, conference phones, desktop IP phones, wireless DECT phones and accessories.
In addition to Addcom, the company has Australian distie partnerships with Alloy and MIA distribution for its IP Phone solutions.
“Alloy is more focused on the reseller channel and MIA is doing well in the ITSP market. We have all the big carriers like Telstra, M2, Amcom, TPG, and MNF on board in Australia, proving that we are capable of delivering a high, consistent quality and support to customers,” Yealink Asia-Pacific country manager, Jessica Chen, said.
“With extensive compatibility and flexible interoperability, Yealink products integrate seamlessly with servers and UC platforms in various market segments worldwide.”
The company also recently made its VC110 and T49G video conferencing (VC) endpoints for huddle rooms and desktops compatible with Zoom’s Cloud-based HD video communications service. The VC110 and T49G VC endpoints join the VC400 and VC120 as the latest Zoom-enabled products in the Yealink VC portfolio.
Chen said moving forward, Yealink customers will be able to access Zoom’s services over four different Yealink devices: the VC400 in head office meeting rooms, the VC120 in middle-sized meeting rooms, and the VC110 and T49G—Yealink’s new offerings—in huddle rooms and desktops, respectively.
“This deepened partnership is especially useful for small to medium-sized businesses,” said Yealink vice-president, Stone Lu.
“It enables people to embrace the power of video collaboration by combining Zoom’s Cloud service with Yealink’s powerful and user-friendly hardware. Best of all, it’s a solution that aligns with tight budgetary requirements.”
Chen added that the company will be targeting the enterprise, SME and IP call centre spaces with its solutions.
“Yealink is always committed to our distributors and we work closely with our partners to get win-win business. As a business, we are also planning to soon launch a full, modern series of Lync phones for the enterprise grade market in A/NZ,” Chen added.
