LiveTiles has expanded its AI Spark program into the US after landing two significant partnerships with CloudScale and RDA.

The Australian export has also become the first software company to join Microsoft’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Inner Circle partner program.

LiveTiles was chosen to be part of the AI Inner Circle program based on independent customer evaluations and a proven track record in providing AI solutions.

Becoming an AI Inner Circle member will give LiveTiles further exposure to co-sell, funding and go-to-market opportunities with Microsoft.

“Membership into this program is only extended to companies that have demonstrated a proven ability to work with Microsoft in bringing successful AI implementations to our joint customers,” Microsoft general manager for cloud and AI, Shawn Murray, said.

The AI Spark program, which was designed in conjunction with Microsoft, aims to accelerate the rate for partners to deploy AI solutions.

Initially launched in Australia, the initiative has now been extended into the US through signing up CloudScale and RDA. CloudScale has already closed three LiveTiles Bots deals.

“Working with LiveTiles through the AI Spark Partner Program has already helped us deliver game-changing solutions that revolutionise collaboration by infusing it with AI-enabled efficiencies," CloudScale CEO, Stephen Costigan, added. "It’s been a great start, and we look forward to more success with LiveTiles and Microsoft."

This follows the success of on-boarding Engage Squared, Velrada, Veritec and Data#3 as the first partners to the AI Spark program in the Asia Pacific region in August.

At the time, Microsoft and LiveTiles revealed their ambition to sign up the first 10 AI Spark partners in Australia in the next three months.

The program aims to provide partners with access to Azure-based AI and cognitive services to develop intelligent solutions.

LiveTiles, which is an ASX-listed software company, headquartered in New York, developed its product suite using Microsoft Azure based technologies with little or no coding requirements for the customer, in order to help them build ‘smart’ solutions.

The LiveTiles Bot can be used by partners to build on, co-brand or white label.

According to LiveTiles it has continued to see a strong adoption of LiveTiles Bots and LiveTiles Intelligent Workplace, through securing new customers in October and advancing sales discussions with more than 50 enterprise customers.

Specifically, the traction has been fuelled by an ongoing co-selling campaign with Microsoft.

The Intelligent Workplace, which was launched in July, is underpinned by AI and combines LiveTiles Design; LiveTiles Bots; LiveTiles Intelligence; LiveTiles MX and Hyperfish technology.

“We are honoured to be invited as the first software company into Microsoft’s AI Inner Circle program," LiveTiles senior vice president of Americas, Daniel Diefendorf, said.

"We are also pleased to secure CloudScale and RDA as the first two US partners under the AI Spark program. We are confident these initiatives will drive significant growth in LiveTiles Bots and the LiveTiles Intelligent Workplace offering throughout FY19."
