Microsoft partner, Modality Systems, is expanding its presence in the local region with the launch of its second Australian office in Melbourne.

The company specialises in collaboration with an emphasis on Microsoft technology and offers an end-to-end service wrap for business communications and collaboration.

Modality Systems was founded in 2007 and has regional headquarters in London UK, Seattle US and Sydney AU to support the deployment and care of its global customer base. It was acquired by the United States-headquartered Premier Global Services (PGi) in 2015.

The company made its first foray into the local market in 2014. Since then, Modality Systems APAC has experienced continued growth.

Now, the new Melbourne office represents a significant development in the continued organic growth of the company and its services locally, and is part of a broader strategy for the company.

“This latest expansion forms part of our global growth plans as a business, and enables us to ensure we are providing a pivotal service to our customers. I look forward to seeing where the future takes us,” Modality Systems co-founder and CEO, James Rodd, said.

According to Microsoft Australia Modern Workplace Lead, Ian Heard, Modality Systems’ continued growth in Australia is testament to its understanding of customer needs and the local market.

“We thoroughly enjoy our partnership and respect their firm commitment to helping their customers to achieve more with their technology solutions,” he said.

For Modality Systems Australia country manager and vice president, APAC, Justin Morris, Melbourne represented a good landing spot for the new expansion.

“Melbourne is one of the main business centres in Australia and our expansion is in direct response to the business we have built in the city already,” Morris said.

“The last three years have seen extensive investment in our operations, both in terms of employee headcount and in developing technological advances to enhance the way we help our customers to achieve advanced communication and collaboration,” he said.
