Ingram Micro and management services company, NetEnrich, have extended their North American distribution partnership to cover the A/NZ region.

The announcement closely follows the DragonWave deal Ingram Micro forged just days ago.

According to Ingram Micro, the extended distribution agreement will enable its reseller partners to become cloud managed service providers (MSPs) and further extend the range of cloud services they can provide to clients.

Ingram Micro A/NZ chief country executive, Felix Wong, said the NetEnrich offerings provide resellers with white-labelled management services for Microsoft Azure, while also allowing them to leverage the full capabilities of Ingram Micro.

He mentioned that the new NetEnrich services will enable resellers to provide cloud services to best suit the needs of customers and their own business.

“With Advanced Cloud Services, they can enter the Microsoft CSP program right away and offer Microsoft cloud services to existing customers and drive new business and revenue opportunities.”

Wong added that the NetEnrich agreement being extended to include A/NZ would be beneficial for channel partners.

“The combination of the NetEnrich suite of services, coupled with the range of the Ingram Micro Cloud, means our resellers now have access to all of the technical tools and administrative support systems they need to deliver cloud managed services to their clients.

“In the past, some of the technical and resource challenges in provisioning cloud managed services automatically restricted them to larger, better resourced organisations. Now, however, Ingram Micro and NetEnrich, in partnership with Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform, can help any reseller, regardless of size or experience, begin their journey into cloud managed services,” he said.

NetEnrich senior vice-president and general manager for channel sales, Justin Crotty, said the expanded agreement reflects the success of the partnership the companies have forged previously.

“NetEnrich and Ingram Micro have enjoyed a multi-year partnership in the North American region on a range of services for Azure that span datacentre, NOC, network and unified communications, plus security services.

“As a strategic partner of Microsoft on Azure providing services including assessment, migration and management services, we have had phenomenal traction with distribution and resale,” he mentioned.

Microsoft channel sales manager, Brad Clarke, said the partnership will allow resellers to service demands immediately, whilst they build their own technical competence and experience with Microsoft Azure.

“We have many small and mid-market customers today who want to move their infrastructure onto a cloud platform like Microsoft Azure," he said, "This exciting new partnership will allow resellers to service that demand immediately.”

Ingram Micro has also launched a new cloud enablement program to provide resellers with access to support, training and operational resources, regardless of if they are just starting out in the cloud or have already begun to develop their own cloud practice.
