HPE offers new mobility solutions from Aruba

Services to propel digital transformation

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has launched new service offerings from Aruba, designed to assist customers in migrating to mobile-optimised digital workplaces.

The Aruba Infrastructure Service gives customers network expertise via assessment and design and global deployment, particularly optimised for business critical applications like Microsoft Office 365 and Skype for Business.

The Aruba ClearPass Service is a policy management platform that provides the access and security needs for a customer’s digital workplace initiatives such as bring your own device (BYOD).

The Aruba AirWave Service delivers a centralised multi-vendor wired and wireless network visibility and management and performance monitoring across multiple customer locations.

The HPE Digital Collaboration Services, focused on Microsoft Office 365, is designed to assist customers with an enterprise digital migration plan and provides advice on Cloud, on-premise and hybrid delivery models.

“In an age of digital disruption in the workplace, our customers are looking to us to help them solve rapidly evolving business challenges,” HPE Souuth-Pacific vice-president and general manager, Alan Hyde, said.

“Our comprehensive portfolio of networking and mobility services are anchored by unparalleled expertise and global reach, so customers can trust HPE to provide them with the innovation needed to accelerate their digital workplace initiatives,” Hyde added.

The vendor is also launching a new program, Intelligent Spaces for Meetings, created to give select customers an intersection of physical meeting spaces with digital collaboration.

The solution looks to wipe out the frustration of securing spaces and enables collaboration by automatically configuring room technology so team productivity can become the main focus.

Powered by Aruba solutions and partner technologies from Citrix and Microsoft, HPE consultants will deploy an Intelligent Spaces for Meetings prototype and will create a dynamic view of meeting room status and scheduling, integrating indoor location services with digital collaboration technologies and intelligent workflow.

Microsoft general manager of office partner marketing, Giovanni Mezgec, said, “We are excited to continue building on the strong record we have established with HPE in the enterprise.”

“The solutions and services HPE have developed on the Microsoft platform will help our joint customers modernise their workplaces, enhance collaboration across teams and networks and take full advantage of the unique and innovative features of the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Suite including Office 365, Skype for Business and Windows 10.”
