Cross-platform software solutions company, Parallels, has appointed Jerry Huang as vice president and general manager of Asia-Pacific.
Based in Singapore, Huang will be responsible for growing the strong APAC demand for the company’s flagship solutions, Parallels Desktop for Mac and Parallels Remote Application Server.
He said, “Asia-Pacific and Japan markets are among the world’s most dynamic, which can create challenges for IT departments in effectively scaling IT infrastructure. I look forward to leading the expansion of Parallels partner ecosystem in the region, including greater China, to provide customers with the best solutions and service they need today.”
Prior to the appointment, Huang was Microsoft devices sales lead for APAC, where he worked closely with country sales and technical teams to support corporate customers’ efforts in building enterprise mobility capability.
Before Microsoft, Huang lead the enterprise sales team for Apple in China. During this stint, he focused on helping customers integrate Mac devices into their business environment.
In the new role, Huang will take over the reins of leadership from Eugenio Ferrante who will be taking on a new role at Parallels.
