Major real estate company, Raine & Horne, has deployed Microsoft Office 365 in an effort to drive brand consistency and enhance customer service across its national and international network of franchises.
The company said the deployment of more than 3000 Office 365 licenses marks a technological milestone for the legacy company established in 1883.
“In the past, franchises had to manage their own IT and technology environment. Now Office 365 is fully deployed, we expect it will markedly improve communications and empower our agents in the field, enabling them to readily communicate with their offices and their clients from anywhere at any time,”Raine & Horne executive chairman, Angus Raine, said.
The Office 365 technology will be a significant recruitment tool, he said.
“To be able to market ourselves as a technology leader is an important step in recruitment and retention, especially with younger agents, who respond very positively to the latest technology. In this sense, it was important to be able to ‘walk the walk’ when it came to our technology offering.”
As part of the digital transformation, the company also looked to utilise features such as Skype for Business to conduct meetings and staff training programs.
“The rollout has also enabled us, for the first time, to have simple things like a company-wide directory, making it easy for anyone to contact anyone else within the company – whether they be in our offices in Dubai or Malaysia or those in Darwin or Hobart,” Raine added.
XCentral was the Microsoft partner involved in the deployment.
