Zynet unveils TraceMail
Victoria-based SME consultancy firm, Zynet, has launched a secure email communication platform, TraceMail.
The solution can capture information about the lifecycle of emails in real time including when they are read, who they are forwarded to, if it is printed or deleted, designed to enable organisations to meet privacy compliance requirements.
Another key feature is the platform's ability to recall, or delete, all instances of an email sent in error, even after it has been opened, read or forwarded.
It is compatible with all systems including Outlook, Gmail and Office365.
Zynet chief executive of IT services and technology strategist, Paul Turner, said, “Businesses that handle confidential information are legally responsible for the security of that information, even after it has left their organisation. TraceMail can ensure our clients meet their legal obligations by allowing them to trace and control what happens to the information they send.”
Rhipe chief operating officer, Warren Nolan said he sees TraceMail as an exciting addition to the company’s Microsoft CSP program.
“There is a real need in the market for an easy-to-manage email solution that integrates with a company’s data loss prevention strategy. TraceMail fills this gap and it greatly increases the profitability of the CSP program for our partners,” he added.
Nuix makes three upgrades to its investigation product line
Cyber-security company, Nuix, has made upgrades to its product line.
According to Nuix chief executive, Eddie Sheehy, after surveying forensic investigators globally, a key concern was that keyword searches took too long to develop, too long to review and risked missing important evidence.
“They’re looking for ways to see patterns and anomalies within the data, correlate findings across multiple evidence sources and cases, and quickly drill down to the key facts,” he continued.
In response to this, the product line upgrades include new features to improve incident response and data visualisations, designed to enable investigators to find key facts with speed and ease, without relying on keyword searches.
Rackspace launches Fanatical Support
Managed Cloud company, Rackspace, has made Fanatical Support for Amazon Web Services (AWS) generally available to the A/NZ market.
The support is comprised of a 24x7x365 team of certified AWS engineers and architects in A/NZ who can offer help across all AWS products.
AWS head of channels and alliances A/NZ, Stefan Jansen, said, “The dedication the Rackspace team has shown towards training and certifications on our platform, as well as the added services they are offering through Fanatical Support for AWS will bring added choice to the rapidly growing AWS customer base across all segments.”
Tableau 9.3 is now generally available
Data analytics platform provider, Tableau, has made its 9.3 version generally available.
Tableau said its newest version includes Tableau Desktop and faster ways to prep data. It also offers improved global map coverage, more governance features and allows direct connectivity to the Snowflake Elastic Data Warehouse.
Tableau Software chief development officer and co-founder, Chris Stolte, said, “We have prioritized sharing and collaboration in Tableau 9.3, and it will be immediately noticeable once people open Tableau Desktop. The ‘always connected’ feature means it’s easier to share while staying in the flow of your analysis.”
