ICT solutions provider, Dimension Data Australia, is taking home the global Asia-Pacific partner of the year award. The company’s efforts will be recognised at Cisco’s annual Partner Summit, held in San Diego this year.

Cisco will be honouring the company, and other winning businesses, at an exclusive winners-only global partner event the afternoon of March 3.

The global entity of Dimension Data also nabbed a global award – the architectural excellence partner of the year award for security.

Two other businesses from the Asia-Pacific and Japan region won global awards as well. Wipro was named the global enterprise partner of the year, while PT Nusantara Compnet Integrator won the Cisco capital partner award.

Digital China Advanced Systems won the architectural excellence partner of the year award for service provider architectures and Eccom Network System was named Greater China partner of the year.

Specific Asia-Pacific and Japan theatre awards will also be handed out at the awards ceremony on March 3.

IBM Asia-Pacific will be given the commercial partner of the year award, Ingram Micro has been named the distributor partner of the year, Data#3 wins the enterprise partner of the year award, Dimension Data also takes home the GSP partner of the year award, Honeywell Building Solutions will be awarded IoE partner of the year, and MapR Technologies will nab the ISV partner of the year award.

In addition, Global Knowledge Asia will be awarded the learning partner of the year award, NEC Australia the solution innovation partner of the year, NetApp the technology alliance partner of the year, and Telstra the A/NZ partner of the year gong.

Other Asia-Pacific and Japan theatre partner winners include: Advanced Information Technology for the datacentre partner of the year architectural excellence award; Snet Systems for the enterprise networks partner of the year architectural excellence award; Fujitsu the collaboration partner of the year architectural excellence award; and Proactive Data Systems the security partner of the year architectural excellence award.

Wipro also won Cisco capital partner of the year, while Netmagic IT services was named Cloud and managed services partner of the year; Uniadex the Cloud builder partner of the year; and Net One Systems the services partner of the year.

Trends and Technologies won the ASEAN partner of the year award, while Dimension Data India is India partner of the year, Opasnet is the Korea partner of the year, and Itochu Techno-Solutions Corporation is the Japan partner of the year.
