Virtualisation software company, Veeam, has recognised its top performing ProPartners in the A/NZ region for 2015. The awards were handed out at the company’s annual ProPartner conference for the region in Sydney.
The Datacom Group took home the 2015 A/NZ ProPartner of the Year award, while Ingram Micro was named A/NZ distributor of the year. In addition, Dimension Data New Zealand was awarded the title of A/NZ Enterprise ProPartner of the Year.
Nexon Asia-Pacific won Cloud and Service Provider of the Year – Australia, while OneNet won the Cloud and Service Provider of the Year – New Zealand gong. FLEXdata Solutions was named A/NZ Rising Star ProPartner of the Year.
Two Technical Champion of the Year awards were also handed out that evening to the Somerville Group’s Scott McGregor and Data#3’s Rhys Hammond (formerly with Computer Merchants).
Veeam A/NZ head of channel and alliances, Peter Bender, said the awards recognise those that are committed to providing customers with the highest levels of support for Veeam Availability Solutions.
“As a 100 per cent channel organisation, these awards recognise the year’s top performers who have demonstrated success in providing Veeam Availability solutions to their customers with support, knowledge, continued product education, and a true Veeam led strategy incorporated into their business.
“We are incredibly proud to highlight and honour these ProPartners,” he said.
Bender said the company’s ProPartners are crucial to the business and these awards are a tribute to its top-tier and mid-tier partners for their commitment in consistently over-achieving on their revenue targets.
“We believe this is a result of businesses recognising the requirements for maintaining an Always-On enterprise. Furthermore, the record breaking growth experienced by our ProPartners is a direct result of the enhancements we introduced mid last year to our ProPartner Program, new Veeam Cloud Connect capabilities, and numerous investments we’ve made to our ProPartner Program.”
Veeam A/NZ vice-president, Don Williams, mentioned Veeam’s success is tied to its ProPartners’ success.
“The relationship is completely symbiotic. Each category received a high number of nominations from our channel partner managers and each of the winners should feel incredibly proud of their achievements.
“They highlight a commitment to embracing Veeam’s value proposition – both sales and technical through building professional services capabilities and moving from just licensing to being a value add solutions provider to our joint customers,” he added.
