This year has proven to be a year of organisational transformation and developing a new brand identity for IT services provider, AC3.
In December 2013, Klikon Solutions, acquired all the shares in AC3, which provides ICT infrastructure, Cloud and collaboration services for a number of government agencies.
AC3 CEO, Simon Xistouris, said it made some big decisions that included positive disruption, innovation - focusing on Cloud-based ‘X as-a-service’ technology, and business transformation.
“We have moved into new offices in ATP [Australian Technology Park] and brought our two businesses, Klikon Solutions and AC3, together to make one organisation,” he said.
“We also created a new brand identity designed to show that we have kept the ‘best of both’ organisations and to explain how we continue to build on our strengths.”
Xistouris said in 2016 it will be focusing on its customers and their requirements, as well as launching new products.
In response to market demand, AC3 created a new services catalogue to help customers identify products and services based on their requirements.
“We’re rolling out a new ITSM platform that will go live next year, and that’s all about user experience, and our second major project is our Cloud management platform,” he said.
New customers that came on-board this year include APRA, Barangaroo Development Authority and Fuji Xerox. AC3 has about 180 staff and contractors, and some of its major vendors include HP, Lenovo, VMware and Microsoft.
“We want to continue to build on the strength in our public sector business and we’re also taking our experience into the commercial/private sector,” he said. “We’ve had some reasonably good success the past few months and we’re really going to drive that in the next quarter.”
