Stegeman has about 20 years of experience in the ICT industry spanning pre-sales, technical consulting, infrastructure and operations management, technical writing to project implementation at technology companies such as CGI and Veda.

As senior systems engineer for the southern region, Jones will work closely with Ryan to ensure technical requirements for Tintri’s customers are met.

Jones has IT experience across a range of storage and software vendors, midrange, mainframe and network platforms. His various roles include systems engineer, technical, enterprise and application architects in organisations such as Datacom, ANZ Bank, National Australia Bank and IBM.

Other recent Tintri hires also include A/NZ channel director, Mark Migallo, and senior marketing manager for Asia-Pacific, Vanessa Curtis.

Migallo has been recruiting the recent selected channel partners for Tintri. According to the company, he was instrumental in securing a distribution agreement for Tintri with Avnet Technology Services at the end of 2014.

Curtis, with experience in marketing, has been working to raise awareness of the Tintri brand throughout the region. She has also been working closely with channel partners on their Tintri go-to-market strategy.

Tintri A/NZ managing director, Graham Schultz, said he welcomes the high calibre of professionals to the local team.

“Australia is one of the most virtualised countries in the world, so there is a huge opportunity for Tintri in this market.

“It’s an exciting time for the business and I look forward to working with the team to help both our existing and prospective customers gain the most from their storage investments, so they can get on with running their organisations,” he added.
