IBM Australia has appointed Rhody Burton as its new A/NZ global business partner director.
She will report directly to A/NZ managing director, Kerry Purcell. Burton previously worked for SAP as its A/NZ channel sales director.
SAP has placed Andrew Winter as its interim A/NZ director of partner operations.
Burton will work closely with IBM's partner network, be responsible for leading its channel strategy and transforming towards 'One Channel Team.'
This new model aims to help partners leverage IBM’s portfolio of Cloud, analytics, mobile, social and security solutions.
“Hiring someone with Rhody’s track record and experience in the IT industry will help us strengthen our channel relationships and deliver a clear ‘One IBM’ portfolio of business solutions to our partners," Purcell said.
Burton maintains almost 20 years worth of experience and local knowledge. She previously spent more than six years at VMware A/NZ and has also worked at Business Objects, Crystal Decisions and Seagate Software.
