telco MSP, Azzurri Communications, has undergone a name change to Enablis.
CEO, Jon Evans, said it recently reviewed its core values and proposition in the market, prompting the name change.
When Azzurri first launched itself into the market, it was focused on data speeds and feeds. That has since evolved towards a managed services model.
In the past three years, its technology portfolio has developed into hosted Cloud voice, hosted unified communications and next generation Cloud, Wi-Fi services and video collaboration, Evans told ARN.
On top of changing its name, Enablis is also expanding its operations into the Melbourne market. It also has infrastructure in New Zealand to help support its trans-Tasman customers.
“We’re going to be focusing on those two areas to keep our growth going,” Evans said. “We’ve got resources in Melbourne now and a physical office will probably come before June.”
The company is also about to launch a new product called Community Access, aimed at providing highly flexible and private connectivity into major infrastructure as-a-service platforms like Microsoft Azure and AWS.
Evans said its main target client was mid-size business made up of 200 to 1500 employees with about 10 to 200 sites.
Some clients include BUPA, Bauer Media, STA Travel and Uniting Care Ageing.

“The Enablis brand and tag line -’your communications partner’, reinforces our focus on long-term strategic relationships with our customers at every level of the organisation,” Evans said.
