IP telephony, managed data services and converged networks provider, Azzurri Communications, has initiated deployment of business software vendor Sage’s integrated ERP and CRM solution for its local business operations.
Azzurri Communications said Sage replaced its previous installation of Microsoft Dynamics solution which was incapable of supporting the company’s fast growing customer base and would have needed considerable customisation to handle the functionality.
The solution, deployed later this year, will ensure that all customer information can be held in one repository.
The combination of Sage ERP Accpac and CRM allows Azzurri Communications to integrate front and back office business processes, collaborate between departments and increase customer service by providing all employees with a single comprehensive and consistent view of the customer.
Azzurri Communications managing director, Jon Evans, said, “Sage will provide an integral role in supporting and providing operational efficiency gains across our sales, support, training and project management business groups.”
It gives managers and colleagues across the organisation access to key customer information and purchasing history usually held within the sales department and aims resolve customer issues and queries promptly by providing service staff with it.
The solution also contains analytical dashboards that present snapshots of business performance for better analysis, predictions, and troubleshooting across the business.
“One of the real advantages is that we’ll be able to keep latching on additional functionality and scale as our business requirements change; this flexibility is important to us,” Evanssaidd.
Sage channel partner, ERP Business Solutions was also involved in the deal.
