Fujitsu has landed a multi-million dollar corporate IT services deal with Salmat.
Under the five year deal, Fujitsu will provide provisioning and management of storage and server environments, data protection and hosting of internal administrative applications such as email.
Fujitsu was awarded the deal after a competitive tender process.
Fujitsu A/NZ CEO, Mike Foster, said the deal capitalised on Fujitsu’s investments in data centre and managed services expertise.
In May, Fujitsu extended its Distributed Computing Central Services (DCCS) contract for a further 12 months with the Australian Department of Defence.
The extension option formed part of a long term contract, worth $40 million per annum.
