Stokes joins Aruba

Sue Stokes has been appointed as the networking vendor's new northern region territory manager

Networking vendor, Aruba has appointed Sue Stokes to a newly created role as its northern region territory manager.

Stokes has previously worked for Riverbed, Juniper, Oracle, IBM and Check Point.

She will responsible for the vendor’s top 100 accounts across NSW, ACT and Queensland.

“She will continue to grow the business and leverage the momentum that we’re getting whether that’s federal, enterprise, local government and across all key verticals,” Aruba country manager, Greg Barnes, said. “A/NZ is one of the regions that is continuously seeing growth and we have to keep building up staff.”

The vendor has also hired a new sales engineer, Matt Hayes, who previously worked for Ciena Networks in EMEA and has re-located to Australia.

Barnes said it now had four territory managers that are focused on generating end-user leads for its partners.

“We’re taking the opportunities to the channel,” he said.

In July, Aruba discussed its intentions to boost its local sales team and channel training efforts.
