Still time to Put IT Back

There is still enough time for companies to get on board and show support for Putting IT Back, the national IT Fund for Kids initiative.

Thirty companies have already signed up for the scheme, which runs throughout October, and participation kits are still available from www.itfundforkids.com.

Employees of companies taking part donate a day's pay or a nominated amount to raise funds for the Starlight Children's Foundation and Giant Steps. The target this year is to raise $350,000 and help more than 85 children nationally.

"It's great to see the IT industry giving back to the community by helping children. I congratulate all of the companies involved in this project," said Kim Yeadon, NSW Minister for Information Technology.
