Vault Intelligence has opened a new base in Singapore as part of its overall growth plan for the South East Asian region.
The Australian risk and safety management software provider will sell through the regional distributor ACA Pacific, co-sharing the partner's office in Singapore.
According to Vault, ACA Pacific has more than 30 years of experience in South East Asia and will help the provider drive growth among its customer network.
“Having Vault physically open its operations in Singapore is essential to the conversion of large opportunities with government and other corporations that we have jointly been progressing,” Craig Gledhill, CEO and MD of ACA Pacific said.
Known as Vault IQ, the Asia operation will be led by long-term Singaporean resident Paul Meredith in the role of general manager.
Vault, which was founded in New Zealand but is now based in Australia, specialises in delivering cloud-based software and mobile apps to the risk and safety sectors.
According to the company, the expansion came off the back of increased demand for its Vault Solo portfolio, which includes the Solo Enterprise Platform, and the worker protection and driver safety apps, Vault Solo and SoloDrive.
Released in September last year, the Solo app was launched in collaboration with Samsung and was described by Vault as the first workforce management app available on an enterprise-level smartwatch.
The Australian Securities Exchange-listed company added that it received “significant assistance and guidance” from New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) on the move.
“We are very excited by the manner and speed in which Vault is making their mark in Singapore. This reinforces the strong ties we have with Singapore and their commitment to the adoption of smart innovation from technology such as that offered from Vault,” Hayley Horan, the NZTE Trade Commissioner for Singapore said.
The move comes three years after Vault first listed on the ASX. Within a year, it opened an Australian headquarters in Melbourne and launched its first partner and reseller program.
