Cloud data integration provider Talend has appointed Helen Larcos as its channel and alliances manager for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ).

Larcos joined Talend in December and was previously GitHub's channel sales manager for ASEAN and A/NZ where she grew the amount of revenue contributed by partners.

She will be based in Sydney and will be responsible for supporting Talend’s regional partner ecosystem in meeting the demand for cloud integration solutions and expanding the company’s partner-led business initiatives.

"Talend delivers a winning formula for the region with its strong channel structure and proven expertise in helping businesses streamline their complex data integration requirements," Larcos said.

"I’m looking forward to deploying my extensive experience to further enable partners to support customers as they drive a competitive advantage through their use of Talend."

Larcos has more than 15 years of experience in the industry. She has been a director of strategy and operations for CommsTech Australia where she was responsible for the company’s partner and channel development.

Prior to that, she worked at Microsoft Australia for four years as cloud and channel sales executive with responsibility for recurring revenue, enabling Azure Cloud technology partners and supporting both SMB and enterprise partners and customers.

She also previously worked at Datacom for more than seven years as sales and marketing team manager focusing on the public sector and commercial market programs.

“Helen joins Talend at a time when we’re a fast-growing cloud company working with organisations across Australia and New Zealand who are reliant on their partners to support them in reaping the advantages of their structured and unstructured data," said Steve Singer, A/NZ country manager at Talend.

“Helen’s experience will benefit our partners in supporting our customers’ cloud integration projects in a market environment where there is greater demand for accessible and compliant data at the same time sources and volumes are increasing and becoming more difficult to manage."
