Cloud Ctrl has unveiled plans to expand market reach after becoming one of only a handful of billing management products to provide support for Microsoft indirect cloud solution providers (CSPs).

Indirect CSPs that cater for resellers and partners customer billing and support, can now provide real-time cost-management across Microsoft Azure, fast tracking the billing process from days to minutes.

The platform, created by Brisbane-based Sixpivot, uses artificial intelligence and real-time data analytics to provide predictive insight and billing management across multi-cloud providers.

Cloud Ctrl CEO, Faith Rees billed the platform as a “game-changer” for Microsoft indirect CSPs, who would normally manually process enormous volumes of data or build customer tooling to make this information available.

"No other cloud billing management tool, even Microsoft owned Cloudyn, allows indirect CSP distributors to offer this level of billing and cost transparency to their partners,” Rees said.

"One of the biggest challenges that Indirect Microsoft CSP distributors face, which flows down to their partners or resellers, is the ability to provide true cloud cost management and insights across Azure.

"Cloud Ctrl automates the conversion of consumption data into usable customer billing information, eliminating days of painstaking work and significantly reducing costs."

Microsoft indirect CSP distribution partner, Rhipe is one of the first to integrate its Prism portal onto the Cloud Ctrl platform.

With this integration, rhipe partners can now view all their public and CSP subscriptions in one place.

Furthermore, indirect CSPs have the ability to add their own management portal onto the Cloud Ctrl platform, allowing the ability to provide full billing management to resellers, who will be able to view cloud subscriptions in one location.

Rees said the company was keen to expand its indirect CSP channel and expressed interest in connecting with providers globally.

"We believe customer demand for cloud based billing management software is one the rise, as companies seek a more streamlined approach to their business,” she added.

Earlier this year, SixPivot formed a strategic partnership with Black Marble, a UK-based independent software vendor (ISV) specialising in delivering enterprise-grade platform solutions.

Terms of the agreement saw Sixpivot start the globalisation and expansion of its tuServ solution, which specifically targets police departments.

SixPivot will work with Black Marble to implement tuServ outside of the UK, with Australia being the next market.
