Email cyber security software services provider, RPost, has expanded its distribution agreement with Ingram Micro to include the Australian market.

The expansion sees Ingram Micro Austalia distribute the vendor’s portfolio of email security, compliance, and productivity services to partners via its Cloud Marketplace.

RPost’s services imbue the Microsoft Outlook user interface with services like email encryption, e-signatures, secure large file sharing, registered email certified e-delivery proof, open tracking and auditable proof of data privacy compliance, among other offerings.

According to Ingram Micro A/NZ cloud services director, Leigh Welch, customers in regulated industries and other enterprises have relied on RPost technologies for security and compliance purposes for more than a decade.

“We are pleased to bring these services, to track, prove, e-sign and encrypt, to our channel partners worldwide, with a variety of service plans to fit any company need,” he said in a statement.

The new arrangement sees RPost’s three main products now accessible for Ingram Micro channel partners in Australia via the distributor's Cloud Marketplace. These include RMail, which is an all-in-one email extension for security, compliance and productivity.

Also available via Ingram Micro’s local Cloud Marketplace is RPost’s RSign, a full featured, web-based e-signature service for signers to complete and sign documents electronically using any web browser.

The other offering available locally under the agreement is the vendor’s One Time Pad (OTP) Messaging product, a service that operates as a private electronic encrypted messaging network separate from email.

According to Ingram Micro, users that install the vendor’s RMail offering are auto-enrolled with a free default service plan for RSign.

Ingram Micro Australia’s deal with RPost comes just two months after the distributor struck an agreement with another cyber security vendor, Lookout, in a deal that covers Australia and New Zealand.

"Given our partnership with Ingram Micro in North America, it made sense to expand our relationship to the strategically important region of Australia and New Zealand," Lookout international vice president, Gert-Jan Schenk, said at the time.
