Adelaide-based emt Distribution has announced it will exclusively distribute NinjaMSP’s solutions in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

As part of the deal, emt’s MSPs will have access to US-headquartered NinjaMSP’s cloud-based remote monitoring and management solution, Ninja RMM, and Ninja NMS software-as-a-service network monitoring solution for MSPs.

More than 1,000 MSPs globally uses NinjaMSP’s solutions and the company expect this number to grow 100 per cent to reach 2,000 by the end of the year.

NinjaMSP expects the partnership to increase its market share in the region along with service level to existing customers.

Ninja’s founder and CEO Salvatore Sferlazza said emt was carefully selected because both companies share the same values.

“Cloud is not an afterthought for emt or for us; it’s the primary way of doing things. We have been impressed by the level of knowledge and experience that the emt management team has with dealing with MSPs and cloud vendors. We have full and unconditional alignment with their philosophy, which is quite amazing,” Sferlazza said.

Emt’s CMO, Scott Hagenus, said the people behind NinjaMSP know the market well and do not lock MSPs into lengthy contracts employing zero commission account executives because “long term relationships are the goal, not one off super contracts”.

“With integrations for third party patch management, Webroot endpoint protection and backup, MSPs can protect their customers from ransomware attacks. With customers backed up, protected and monitored, Ninja is virtually security as a service,” Hagenus said.

According to the vendor, its RMM solution addresses a number of problems that have plagued MSPs.

“We wanted to make an RMM that is really easy to use. Everything in the UI is clickable and intuitive,” said NinjaMSP product manager, Andy Zhu. “Instead of a week or more of training, an MSP technician can learn everything they need to start using Ninja’s cloud-based, software-as-a-service RMM tool during an hour-long onboarding session.”

emt has announced several vendor agreements this year. In May, the distributor signed with Australian-based Airlock Digital.

A month later, emt partnered with US-based security vendor Thycotic to distribute the vendor’s privileged account management (PAM) solutions including password and endpoint protection.

The latest deal was with workspace management solutions vendor, Matrix42. As part of the partnership, emt Distribution employed two staff members dedicated to Matrix42.
