Australian-born, Silicon-Valley-based vendor, UpGuard, has forged a partnership with Insentra in A/NZ, naming the latter as its exclusive service delivery partner.

Insentra is an IT services partner that provides technical services and specialised professional and managed services capabilities for partners. Its business units include professional services, cloud and collaboration, data management, security, application delivery and mobility, training and enhanced support services.’’

Its core vendors include Citrix, Microsoft, Symantec, GlassHouse and Veritas.

As per the agreement, the arrangement with Insentra will enable UpGuard and its partners to provide end-users with the customer service and support needed to continue to scale business in key markets within A/NZ.

UpGuard Asia-Pacific vice-president, Gerry Sillars, said the partnership with Insentra is an endorsement to the push it’s embarking on in the A/NZ region.

Since opening an office in Sydney earlier this year and as part of an effort to reinvest in the Asia-Pacific region, the vendor has recently doubled down on its two-tier channel model, signing distribution deals with both ACA Pacific and NextGen.

"Insentra's great reputation, technical expertise and channel only business model made them an ideal choice to support our channel efforts in A/NZ.

"Its dedicated team of highly trained consultants will work closely with our existing channel partners as a locally based, external support capability to ensure that our customers are getting the best experience possible, from deployment onwards," he added.

Insentra CEO, Ronnie Altit, said the company’s “partner-centric model” provides the channel direct access to industry expertise and accountable outcome.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with Australian-founded UpGuard, and we are excited about the solutions it brings to market. We believe in its mission to introduce robust cyber resilience to companies needing to tackle increasingly complex cyber risk and look forward to a long and successful partnership," he said.

Insentra has been propelling into growth mode recently, with the company recently expanding into the UK. It also recently hired former Webroot head, Robbie Upcroft, as its national partnership manager.
