Fujitsu, Teradata Australia, and Ricoh Australia have joined the Federal Government’s cloud services panel in the latest wave of appointments to the whole-of-government procurement panel.

The Australian Government’s chief technology officer, John Sheridan, revealed the details of the panel arrangement’s newest inductees on 8 February.

The list of 12 new suppliers includes Be Soft International, WebCentral, SDS Group, and Gulanga Group.

“All new panelists will be submitting services for inclusion on the cloud services panel service catalogue shortly. These services will soon be available for agencies to procure via the ICT procurement portal,” Sheridan said in a statement.

The latest round of panel entrants comes hot on the heels of two other waves of fresh suppliers to join the panel, with 20 new providers named on 25 January, and another 12 added on 2 February.

The new appointments are part of an ongoing refresh of the cloud services panel, which was established in 2015 with the aim of offering agencies a “scalable and flexible cloud services via industry offerings and do so in a way that reduces the burden on industry,” according to Sheridan.

The panel covers platform-as-a-service, software-as-a-service, and infrastructure-as-a-service, along with services such as cloud service optimisation and integration.

The initial term of the panel expires on 31 March 2017 with options to extend for another four years. The panel now claims 152 suppliers.
