SixPivot has signed on Insight Enterprises as a worldwide solutions partners for its cloud management platform, Cloud Ctrl, as the start-up executes on local and global expansion plans.

Cloud Ctrl is a multi-cloud service management platform, designed to provide customers with greater insights and financial control of cloud subscriptions.

With an aggressive roadmap already underway, the expanding company is currently in the process of adding more than 15 public providers to the platform in addition to current providers, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google and IBM Softlayer.

In addition, plans are in place to provision a service across these cloud providers, offering a one of a kind multi-cloud management platform in the process.

“We chose Insight as a global solutions partner for Cloud Ctrl given they are a leading provider of intelligent technology solutions, whereby they focus on innovation and business improvement for their customers,” SixPivot CEO and co-founder, Faith Rees, said.

“Cloud Ctrl enables customers to innovate and transform their business by gaining insights and predictability into their cloud consumption.

“Insight are well positioned to represent our product as the leading multi-cloud service management platform.”

As a Fortune 500 company with strong roots in Australia, Insight - which provides cloud, software, storage, security, networking and hardware solutions - recently announced its focus on alliances to accelerate market reach, in order to meet customer demands.

“We are pleased to welcome Cloud Ctrl to our partner ecosystem,” Insight general manager APAC Services, Pat Murphy, added.

“We believe that together we can enable our clients to run their business smarter business by having the necessary control and visibility over the performance and costs of running assets in the cloud.”

According to Rees, many organisations across the country are already deploying Cloud Ctrl, including MyBudget, an Australian financial services firm.

“As MyBudget expands into AWS and Azure, Cloud Ctrl has provided us insights into our footprint, ensuring our spend doesn’t increase unexpectedly without any notice,” MyBudget team leader, Mariusz Dworzanski, said.

“Furthermore, given the nature of our business, Cloud Ctrl has been able to provide us the insights into the locations our services operate within, making sure all our customer data is stored in Australia.”

As a cloud-first innovator, SixPivot works with independent software vendors (ISVs) and customers who are building software products for commercial production across diverse industries in Australia.

From strategy to commercialisation, SixPivot is part of the Microsoft Ventures Global Initiative via the Microsoft innovation Centre as well as a Silver Application Development and Cloud Platform Partner.
