Dicker Data has added on remote control, remote access and collaboration company, TeamViewer, to its list of vendors in the vendor's first partnership with an Australian distributor.
As part of the deal, Dicker Data will be distributing TeamViewer’s entire product range in Australia.
This partnership follows Dicker Data’s deal with Quest Software in end November 2016, which saw the distributor bulk up its offering to meet partner demand for cloud, mobile applications, and virtualisation.
TeamViewer Asia-Pacific head of channels, Stephen Pech, said the deal was an “important step” in the company’s strategy to build its local partner community.
“We are excited to have Dicker Data on board as our first distribution partner in Australia," he said.
“This is an important step in our strategy to work more deeply with the partner community who have been using and providing Team Viewer’s solutions for a number of years; and an unprecedented opportunity to grow our business further in partnership with Dicker and through their extensive partner base."
Dicker Data chairman and CEO, David Dicker, said he is pleased with the distribution agreement as TeamViewer is a globally recognised vendor.
