Ingram Micro has been named Microsoft’s Distributor Partner of the Year for 2016.
The global distributor won the top award based on its ability to implement customer solutions based on Microsoft’s portfolio; offer end-to-end solutions for partners and for its performance in driving channel sales across Microsoft’s Cloud solutions.
Across the world, Ingram Micro is authorised to sell Microsoft Cloud services via CSP in more than 40 countries.
The distributor’s Ecosystem of Cloud provides partners with the ability to configure, provision and manage the entire lifecycle of Cloud technologies - the interconnected network is built on platforms from Odin and Ensim, and includes a comprehensive catalogue of Cloud technologies.
Ingram Micro global cloud executive vice president, Nimesh Dave, said the win underscored its commitment to driving innovation and business transformation across the Cloud ecosystem.
Awards were presented across several categories, with winners chosen from a set of more than 2500 entrants from 119 countries.
Ingram is also a diamond sponsor at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Toronto, Canada, taking place July 10 -14.
The distributor will also be making several key announcements including the release of a new cloud platform through Odin, updates to Odin Automation Essentials, and the expansion of the Ingram Micro Referral Program.
