Aggie Szemplinska after winning the Rising Star Award at the 2014 ARN Women in ICT Awards
Former PernixData A/NZ channel sales manager, Aggie Szemplinska, has joined Cloud computing services company, Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Szemplinska updated the move on her LinkedIn profile to reflect the change, joining the vendor as its commercial sales territory account manager as of June this year, with her tenure with PernixData lasting from May 2015 to June 2016.
As reported by ARN, before moving to AWS, Szemplinska was tasked with growing PernixData’s partner base in Australia, through the launch of local channel initiatives.
Prior to joining PernixData, Szemplinska was the channel sales partner business manager at Veeam Software for two years.
Before Veeam, Szemplinska was at Avnet Technology Solutions, initially as VMware business development manager, a role she was in for almost three years before being promoted to VMware and Veeam business manager, a role she held for nine months.
In addition, former Cisco Director of Service Provider and Cloud Business Unit, Jonathan Dixon, has also joined AWS, taking up a Global Accounts role for APAC, based out of Melbourne.
