Huawei has named its best performing partners for 2015 during its first partner road show.

Huawei Australia director of channels, Leo Lynch, presented the awards during the Melbourne and Sydney events.

In Melbourne, Southern Cross Computer Systems and Box Hill Institute were awarded prizes, whils the Sydney event saw gongs handed out to PDK, Fujitsu Australia, CT4, R Group and TECCO Technology.

The Solution Breakthrough award was given to PDK and was awarded in recognition of a world first sale and deployment of a convergent communications server and for Australia’s largest deployment of Huawei UC&C, an 88 site nationwide solution for a well known employment services company.

The Industry Partner Award went to Fujitsu Australia for the design and deployment of the agile stadium solution in Australia at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast, designed to enhance the in-stadium game day fan experience.

The Integrated solution award went to Southern Cross Computer Systems for the end-to-end deployment of Huawei infrastructure including switching, server and storage for a major infrastructure company.

The Partner Growth Award went to CT4 in recognition of its adoption and development of custom PaaS, IaaS solutions on the vendor’s server platforms for compute, NAS and storage for more than 12,000 users in APAC.

The Solution Breakthrough Award was given to R Group, which deployed an IP over Coax solution to a mining campus and offered Wi-Fi high-speed access for users as well as IPTV services.

TECCO Technology took home the Capability Development Award for development of technical capabilities in the Huawei portfolio. The company’s engineer, Chris Wang, was the first HCIE in Australia and Tecco is the first 5 star CSP.

Box Hill Institute was named the Information and Network Academy Partner of the year for being the first the first Huawei Authorised Information and Network Academy (HAINA) in Australia.
