Ingram Micro enterprise technology group senior director, David Lenz, has left the distributor after seven years.

Lenz has joined ASX-listed Hills as its head of sales.

“David is an experienced sales operator and he will be a great asset to the team as we continue growing into FY16,” Hills CEO, Grant Logan, said.

Lenz has racked up more than 20 years in the IT industry.

"We sincerely thank David for all his hard work over the past 7 years and we wish him all the very best in his future endeavours," an Ingram Micro spokesperson said.

Lenz started working in sales and marketing for HP and later became the APAC director of sales and marketing for Novell.

He also worked as the vice president of sales in Asia Pacific for SurfControl before joining Ingram.

“This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and a trusted iconic brand and I look forward to driving results and continue building a great business as we move into FY16,” Lenz said.
