IBM's A/NZ distribution sales manager, Leo Lynch, has joined Chinese telecommunications giant, Huawei, as its director of channel sales.
A Huawei spokesperson told ARN that Lynch's role is a newly created role in Huawei's enterprise division, and stresses the company's increased focus on the ANZ channel marketplace.
Lynch is currently not available for comment as he's still bedding himself into the role, the spokesperson said.
"He is really focused on learning the business at the moment. He is working on developing our business strategy and growing the channel business."
Lynch follows fellow IBM boss and ARN Hall of Fame inductee, Phil Cameron out the door in the face of mass restructuring at IBM. Cameron was IBM Australia's director of business partner organisation, and has since taken up the role of Westcon A/NZ director of vendor alliances.
