Telephony vendor, 3CX, has signed Adelaide’s Leader Systems to distribute its Windows-based voice over IP (VoIP) PBX product, 3CX Phone System, in Australia.
As an authorised distributor, Leader will promote 3CX by hosting training events in which resellers will be shown how to install, configure and support the Phone System.
Leader will also offer licensing and sales training to reach partners how to increase revenues and profit in the growing Australian VoIP market.
Leader sales manager, Jaimie I’Anson, claims 3CX has shown ongoing strength in Australia with its unified communications (UC) product, which in turn provides telecommunications and other IT resellers a profitable and easy-to-manage solution to take to market.
3CX was formed in 2005 by Nick Galea who was looking to capitalise on Windows’ market share in a PBX market he branded “solely proprietary and devoid of any innovation for the past 30 years.”
While exclusive to Windows on traditional PCs (desktops and notebooks), 3CX has branched out to cater for mobile platforms from Microsoft, Google, and Apple.
