Communications services provider, Orange Business Services, has been crowned Riverbed’s global partner of the year at the vendor’s Sales Kick Off 2014 event in San Francisco.
It was also named both global authorised service provider partner of the year and global granite partner of the year. AT&T (service provider), Joyent (stingray partner), and Dimension Data (platform partner) were among the other worldwide winners.
Within the Asia-Pacific and Japan region, O2 Networks and SITA took out the authorised service provider partner of the year category for the value-added reseller (VAR) and systems integrator (SI) sub-categories, respectively.
Distribution Central earned its place as distribution partner of the year, while AsiaTech became the ‘rising star’ partner.
Award winners in the Americas and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) included Forsythe Technology, Servix Informatica, World Wide Technology, RKON, Avnet, CDW, Teneo, Zycko, Kelway, Emitec, and Croc.
The partner awards are reviewed by a panel of Riverbed’s worldwide sales leadership and credit companies which impact the vendor’s business on both a global and regional basis.
The 24 category winners are part of Riverbed’s Performance Partner Network which comprises an ecosystem of more than 2200 partners worldwide.
