Vodafone is the exclusive telco carrier for the PS Vita but all major game retailers are stocking it as well.

The PS Vita features a five-inch OLED screen with dual analogue sticks and motion sensors. It is available in a WiFi only model and a WiFi/3G model which retails for $348 and $418 respectively.

The device can be synced with the PlayStation 3 as well as various Sony media distribution platforms.

There over 25 titles available at launch including Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Ridge Racer and ModNation Racers: Road Trip.

Third-party developers are already on-board to create games on the PS Vita platform such as 2K with BioShock and Ubisoft for Assassin's creed.

Australian-based game developers including Nnooo, Tantalus, Big Ant and Torus are also confirmed to be developing for the platform.
