Global PC vendor, Acer Computer Australia, has announced its latest multi-touch display – the T231H.

The touchscreen monitor allows users to directly interact with the PC using simple hand gestures to rotate images, flip pages, pinch and draw on the screen.

It is ergonomically designed and features a full HD 23-inch wide multitouch screen that displays clear, vibrant images with its response time of 2ms and 50,000:1 contrast ratio.

The screen can be adjusted from five to 60 degrees through its hinge mechanism to exploit comfort while users freely discover and engage in touch operations.

The T231H also sports Acer’s eColour Management that exhibits 16.7 million colours and 300 cd/m² colour brightness.

It is compatible with Windows 7, contains all the touch characteristics of Microsoft Touch Pack and has built-in speakers.

The new monitor can be mounted on the wall and features HDMI, VGA and DVI inputs with HDCP.

The Acer T231H is available in Australia at RRP $599 from the following local distributors: Synnex Australia, Ingram Micro, Bluechip Infotech, XIT Australia and Compu Wholesale.
