Amazon Web Services (AWS) has revealed its top performing partners across Australia and New Zealand who helped customers build solutions and drive innovation on the AWS Cloud.

The A/NZ Amazon Partner Network (APN) Awards took place in Sydney on 29 April during the vendor's Partner Summit.

Versent took the APN Consulting partner of the year award for the third time for its experience and success in moving Australian businesses to the AWS Cloud, its tailored methodologies for cloud migration, and the development of cloud-native applications, AWS said.

The APN Technology partner of the year was handed to independent software vendor Cloud Conformity. The Australian arm of the US-headquartered business was recognised for its work improving the cloud migration journey for customers, including development of a governance platform, provision of real-time security, and compliance.

Sydney-based Intellify was awarded with the Differentiation award for Data, Analytics and Machine Learning for its successful track-record of using data analytics to deliver customer outcomes across a diverse range of industries.

Meanwhile, the Differentiation award for Applications, Transformation and Migration was handed to the Australian arm of UK-headquartered Contino, who was recognised for its work with customers across multiple industries, including transport, utilities and finance, to successfully execute large and complex migrations.

Auckland-headquartered Clearpoint was recognised as the Social Impact Partner of the year for working with Eat My Lunch in their move to the AWS Cloud, which helped them to meet their target of delivering more than one million lunches to children in need.

Sydney-headquartered Tigerspike, who is a global APN consulting partner, was named the Innovation Partner of the Year.

"The APN Partner Awards reflect the innovative work that partners are doing with businesses of all sizes, and their ability to adapt their own service offerings to provide customer outcomes,” said Paul Migliorini managing director at AWS A/NZ.

"The strength of our partner program is how we collectively envision what customer success looks like, and work backwards from there.

"This year’s APN Award winners and their customers should be proud of the contributions they are making not just to business and industry, but to society across Australia and New Zealand."
