EMT Distribution signs deal with Flashpoint

Partnership covers Oceania and South East Asia

EMT Distribution has been appointed a distributor for US-headquartered business risk intelligence firm Flashpoint.

The Australian distributor is the first to bring Flashpoint's solutions to he local market with the deal covering Oceania and South East Asia. EMT will have access to the vendor's entire portfolio.

Flashpoint solutions can help business by bolstering cyber security, combating insider threats, confronting fraud and addressing supply chain risk, according to Emt.

"The addition of Flashpoint to our portfolio adds another very important layer of surgical intelligence needed by cyber threat intelligence teams," EMT Distribution CMO Scott Hagenus said.

"It helps them uncover possible data breaches or imminent threats to their organisations you would normally not be able to uncover through conventional means."

According to Hagenus, Flashpoint provides access to illicit online communities that is critical for teams to safely access actionable intelligence to reduce business risk.

“With EMT building out its portfolio of solutions that fall within cyber threat management, we are adding a level of cyber sophistication many channel partners have not had access to in the past.

Based in Adelaide, EMT focuses on cyber security solutions and is also present in Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, UAE and South Africa.

In September 2018, EMT signed an exclusive deal with malware analysis solutions provider VMRay across Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ).
