Cloudten has been awarded Public Sector Partner status by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Australia, as the cloud consultancy firm expands its reach across government.

Launched in November 2016, the Public Sector Partner Program (PSP) recognises partners capable of demonstrating AWS expertise across government, education and non-profit sectors.

Already operating as an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, Cloudten qualified for PSP through demonstration of technical expertise in managing government projects specifically, including the ability to deliver ongoing customer support.

With expertise across DevOps, DevSecOps and security technologies, the Sydney-based partner was selected under the vendor’s government program, reflecting experience in the design and delivery of AWS customer-based solutions for a number of government agencies.

“We are thrilled to be named as an AWS Public Sector Partner as it underlines our continuous commitment to our government clients across Australia,” Cloudten CEO and co-founder Malcolm Duncanson said.

“We are thrilled to work with both new and existing public sector customers to design, migrate and maintain their AWS estates.”

Founded in 2014, Cloudten provides cloud and technology solutions spanning the public sector, with customers across local, state and federal government in Australia.

Having also expanded across the wider Asia Pacific region through the opening of a Singapore office, the advisory practice specialises in architecture and solution planning, alongside cloud application and managed infrastructure support.

In early 2017, Cloudten was hand-picked by the Australian Federal Government to join the new IT Services Panel, with the business also operating as a pre-qualified advanced supplier to the NSW Government and a pre-qualified supplier to each Australian state government.

Outside of government, the company has also struck deals across healthcare, media and entertainment industries.
