Cybersecurity software business, ESET, has inked a distribution partnership with Anyware Corporation, in a move to push its protection products across the nation.
As part of the agreement, Anyware will distribute ESET security licensing and software for a range of applications, spanning servers, workstations and mobile devices.
“ESET have established a strong reputation for protecting consumers and Anyware has the distribution power to reach those consumers at all levels of retail or business,” said Anyware managing director, Garrison Huang.
“We expect this partnership to benefit our customers, while widening the market for the brand. Cybersecurity is clearly one of the most crucial concerns facing both businesses and individuals in the present and future,” he added.
ESET managing director, Florin Vasile, echoed Huang in that the agreement comes as many retailers and businesses look to tighten their security levels by leveraging the latest cybersecurity technologies and products.
“With cyberattacks doubling each year in Australia, businesses are now more vulnerable than ever to malicious activity," he said.
"Having reliable protection and support should be the number one priority for businesses, and we’re excited to be addressing this need together with Anyware."
In July last year, Harris Technology embarked on a new channel chapter in Australia, after shareholders approved the mega merger of Anyware, Harris Technology and Shoply.
After green lighting plans by online retailer, Shoply, to acquire a 100 per cent stake in the niche IT distributor, Anyware, which also includes Harris Technology, Garrison Huang takes charge as CEO and Managing Director of the combined companies.
