FireEye Australia and New Zealand channel manager, Lani Edwards, has resigned from her role at the security vendor after 18 months.
ARN can confirm that Edwards has vacated her position and is exploring new opportunities.
FireEye director global service providers and MSSPs APJ, Sean Kopelke, said Edwards would continue in her role for the next three to four weeks, with the vendor set to expand its channel team locally.
“We will be bringing in another person to help with the partners and we will certainly be bringing in another person to fill Lani’s role," he said.
Kopelke said the vendor had been planning for some time to bring in additional resources to focus on its top channel partners and Federal Government clients.
“As the focus on our partners continues to increase, we will certainly need the people power to get all the work done.
“Lani has done a great job putting the right structure in place for our partner program.
“She has done an excellent job of recruiting the right partners and in building our rewards for value program, and all the operational mechanisms that you need behind good, healthy partnerships.
“We appreciate everything she has done and we know that she will move on to an organisation which will be lucky to have her."
Prior to joining FireEye, Edwards was with networking vendor, Juniper, for six years where she held a number of roles including head of channels for A/NZ. Edwards has also held roles at AVnet and inTechnology Solutions.
ARN reached out to Edwards for comment but she was not available for comment at the time of publication.
