Accenture launches Cyber Intelligence Platform

Aims to examine network flows and DNA data streamed from network components

Global services company, Accenture, has added the Cyber Intelligence Platform to its managed security offerings.

Accenture said the platform combines chip processor technology with artificial intelligence, machine learning and streaming analytics to examine network flows and domain name system (DNS) data streams to predict and combat cyber attacks.

According to the company, the platform harnesses its scalable technologies, Big Data-processing power and is underpinned by the Accenture Cloud Platform.

The platform also features a customised version of Open Network Insight, an open-source solution that delivers visibility into operational and security threats.

Accenture managing director of analytics, security lead, Vikram Desai, said, “Today’s best network protection devices alone are not enough to challenge the new reality of cybersecurity. Attackers continue to evolve by leveraging data technology, and clients have urged us, as a provider of data science solutions, to help them fight back. Our new Accenture Cyber Intelligence Platform gives them back the upper hand.”
