Ingram Micro adds Acronis’ solutions to its Cloud Marketplace in Australia
Master Cloud service provider (mCSP), Ingram Micro, has extended the availability of Cloud data protection solutions from Acronis to its Cloud Marketplace in Australia.
The Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace is an ecosystem of buyers, sellers and solutions that allow channel partners to purchase, configure, provision, and manage Cloud technologies.
It removes the complexity in procurement, management, and support, as well as enables efficient management of the complete end-customer Cloud subscription lifecycle from a single, automated platform.
Ingram Micro Australia Cloud and software services general manager, Lee Welch, said it has added on to its portfolio as due to the growing volume and complexity of digital business processes, data threats from security breaches, system failures, and unpredictable man-made and natural disasters, many companies are turning to the Cloud to protect their sensitive information and critical workloads.
“Considering that back-up and disaster recovery is a core need for many companies in the evolving data protection landscape, the addition of Acronis data protection products in our Cloud portfolio offers greater revenue opportunities for our channel partners,” he said.
