Psoda launches not-for-profit charity initiative in Australia

Program management provider, Psoda, has opened its reduced-cost charity initiative to Australian organisations, after its successes in New Zealand, the US, and Indonesia.

In an attempt to help charities deliver greater outcomes, the initiative will see eligible Australian not-for profit organisations receive a 50 per cent discount on Psoda’s portfolio of Cloud based software tools.

Psoda’s Cloud-based portfolio, program, and project management software manages the end-to-end life cycle of projects.

Psoda CEO and founder, Bruce Aylward, said there are many IT companies with products and services that would greatly benefit the not-for-profit community. As such, he claimed that by opening Psoda’s charity program to the Australian market, he hopes others will join the company and offer discounted services.

“Our software is particularly relevant to charity organisations as it allows them to run a number of projects simultaneously, while also getting more done with less resources.

“We’ve found that by adopting Psoda’s software, charity project managers can increase the number of campaigns they execute by 20 per cent. This allows them to take on more projects within their existing workload and further advance the work of their organisation, without extra headcount,” he said.

Aylward also mentioned this approach will allow the organisations to repurpose more money back in to their operations, which in turn enables them to achieve more.

“When we first started talking to not-for-profit organisations, we found that many needed to desperately update their systems, but as a charity they couldn't justify the cost of doing so. By eliminating some of the financial concerns that come with a software upgrade, we’re able to help organisations invest more resources into the community.”

Aylward added that charity-driven corporate social responsibility programs offer huge benefits for organisations on several levels.

“Our software now allows charities to take ideas and test them in market, uncover which ideas merit further investigation and where need exists most, and then implement projects that the community need most.

“The impact of our program extends beyond the business. It gives us the opportunity to give back to the community, while also giving staff the chance to feel like their work is contributing to more than a bottom line,” he added.
