Manchester United and Epson extend global sponsorship agreement

Epson will be the club's official office equipment supplier until the end of the 2017/18

Epson has renewed its global sponsorship of English Premier League team, Manchester United.

The latest agreement reconfirms Epson as the club's official office Equipment supplier until the end of the 2017/18 season.

The company has been a sponsor of Manchester United since 2010.

According to a company statement, the renewal reflects the success to date of the partnership in helping Epson to engage more with its customers in key markets and enhance its global brand awareness.

Now seeking to leverage its unique technologies in the office, commercial, healthcare, sports and other markets, Epson believes the relationship will continue to play a key role in boosting its global profile and supporting business growth for products such as inkjet printers, scanners, projectors and smart glasses.

According to the agreement, Epson will continue to benefit from stadium advertising rights and hospitality while supplying Manchester United with core office and front-of-house printing and imaging equipment.

Epson general manager of brand communications, Ian Cameron, said he was very excited to renew the sponsorship.

“The partnership to date has provided us with numerous benefits in key markets such as the office and emerging economies, and the renewal reiterates both organisations’ strong and ongoing commitment to excellence and to helping our customers to achieve their dreams.”

Manchester United Group managing director, Richard Arnold, said Manchester United was very proud of its partnership with Epson.

"Already a household name, the company has shown the innovation and determination to take this name further, breaking into new and emerging markets," he said.
