Eaton appoints Gordon Makryllos as managing director of its electrical business.
Eaton has appointed former Orange Business Services managing director, Gordon Makryllos, as the new MD for the company's A/NZ electrical business.
Based in Sydney, Makryllos will be responsible for leading the business through its next phase of growth and propelling its sales and marketing presence.
Makryllos has held several senior management positions with Schneider Electric, Telstra and IBM.
Most recently, he was responsible for spearheading growth for the Orange's range of Cloud computing, unified communications and security services.
Makryllos said it was an exciting time to lead the electrical business in A/NZ and to partner with the industry to meet critical power management challenges.

Makryllos holds an MBA from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of New South Wales and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
