Kaseya channel partners could be set to reap the benefits of NSW Government contracts after the Cloud IT management company was named as an accredited supplier.
The company is now an accredited supplier to the New South Wales Government under the NSW Pre-Qualification Scheme – ICT Services SCM0020.
NSW government agencies can now procure Kaseya software and services as part of the government’s collaborative approach to ICT procurement reform.
Kaseya managing director A/NZ, Dermot McCann, told ARN, the listing provided a great opportunity for its channel partners.
"It means an awful lot for our channel partners," he said.
"We are supporting those channel partners who have government business and we're also leveraging some of those partners to deliver a full Kaseya suite into government agencies.
"It expands our Cloud capabilities and professional services with government agencies.
He said the appointment demonstrated and supported the NSW Government’s commitment to reform its procurement practices.
“Government agencies typically have large numbers of staff and stakeholders spread across multiple locations,” he said.
“This means it’s especially critical for them to have innovative solutions ensuring seamless and effective management of their IT environment.”
The company’s IT management solutions directly address the specific requirements of NSW government organisations around the delivery of enterprise mobility, Cloud monitoring and IT automation.
The ability to centrally command all of IT, even across distributed locations is also a key requirement.
McCann said the company also had a number of BYOD projects on the go.
"We are actively looking for partners who understand Kaseya's enterprise mobility and management solutions and can add additional consultancy services around our technologies to meet with the government requirements," he said.
The company's recent acquisition of Scorpion Software, a security and authentication provider adds critical identity management and authentication capabilities, including integrated two-factor authentication, single sign-on and password management, making it easier for systems administrators to securely manage distributed groups of users on multiple devices.
Kaseya is able to support this growing ecosystem within a secure and organised framework.
